Ekoskola

EcoSchool is an international program that promotes environmental education and sustainable practices in schools. It aims to engage students, teachers, and the wider community in environmental awareness and action. The program is designed to help schools:

  1. Incorporate sustainability into their curriculum
  2. Improve environmental performance (e.g., reducing waste, saving energy, conserving water)
  3. Foster student leadership and community involvement

EcoSchool is often run by environmental organizations (like the Foundation for Environmental Education, or FEE, in many countries) and may involve earning certifications or awards (e.g., Bronze, Silver, or Green Flag) as schools meet specific environmental goals.

In short, EcoSchool helps make schools greener and empowers students to lead change toward a more sustainable future.
