Dear Parents/Guardians,

Kindly inform us if there are family members in your household who tested positive for COVID so that we can monitor and prevent covid transmission in school. Children are not to attend school if a family member is positive or in quarantine.

Kindly note that the Ministry for Education abides to the rules and guidelines established by the Health Authority. The quarantine period for a non-vaccinated person is 14 days (day of test is day 0).

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As announced by the Ministry for Education, school will start next Friday, 7th January 2022 online (MSTeams). Hence, you will be contacted shortly by the class teachers so that the children will have lessons on MSTeams. On Monday, 10th January 2022, our school will welcome the kids physically as we have been doing over the past term.

Important points to follow:

• Everyone should wear a mask upon entering the school gates.
• Parents/guardians should assess for any signs of illness in the morning before attending School. Students who are unwell should not attend School.

• Temperature screening of students/staff will be carried out at school entrance. A screening temperature >37.2^◦C or anybody who appears unwell will not be admitted into school.

• If the students feel sick while at school, they will be taken to the isolation room and the parents/guardians will be contacted so they pick them up as soon as possible.

• A medical certificateto enable the child to return to school after sickness is required (even if the child is absent for a single day). This certificate from the doctor should include fit for school written on it with the specific date.

• If a student is positive to COVID 19, or if s/he has to quarantine, the parents/guardians are to send the quarantine letter and result to school on stjulians.pr@ilearn.edu.mt

The children will have their Christmas Party on the last day of school. They are to bring their own food and they are not allowed to share it with their peers due to Covid restrictions.
