ALS – Art Competition

Dear parents/guardians,
We have received the following letter from ALS Malta. We strongly encourage you to have your children participate, as we believe in Bjorn’s initiatives to support those affected by ALS.
“Dearest St.Julian’s Primary,
We at ALSMalta+ are reaching out to Bjorn’s most cherished places, schools, as he treasures his student days dearly. As you may know, Bjorn’s health continues to deteriorate as in the past year, he has lost his ability to eat, and more recently, his ability to speak. Despite these challenges, Bjorn remains steadfast in his mission to connect with as many people as possible and to inspire hope.

In 2025, Bjorn is continuing his school tours to raise awareness, engage with students, and share the impactful projects he aims to complete. This year, we are combining Bjorn’s love for students with his passion for art by inviting your students to participate in a unique Art Competition to help raise funds for Dar Bjorn Respite.

Theme: Hope and Resilience: We invite students to express their interpretation of this theme through their artwork.

Eligibility: Students aged 4 to 16 are eligible to participate.

We warmly invite your school’s Art Teacher to participate by submitting one artwork representing the school. This piece will be featured and auctioned on our online platform, with credit given to the artist and their institution.

  • Entry Fee: €5 per student, collected during Bjorn’s visit to your school.

This initiative not only supports a noble cause but also inspires creativity and compassion among students. Thank you for considering this opportunity to engage your students in a meaningful project that embodies hope and resilience.

Celebration Day/Christmas Concert

Dear parents/guardians,

I would like to remind you to arrive on time and stay until the entire concert is finished. It can be disappointing for the children if parents leave the hall while they are performing.

The times are as follows:

Kindergarten: 9:00am

Yr1 – Yr3: 10:30am

Yr4 – 6: 12:00pm

Please make sure to bring your tickets with you, as entry will not be allowed without them. Only two tickets were issued per child, so we kindly ask you to respect this decision for the benefit of the children.

Regards
