The application process to register your child at St. Julian’s Primary school is not difficult, if your child has EU nationality and if you live in St Julians.
Documents needed to register your child:In the enrollment menu you can find the application form and some other documents. You can come to school to register your child, where you should bring all the original documents needed which are these:
- – Registration form filled-in apart from Section 7 which has to be signed by both parents in front of the school clerk or SLT member
- – ID cards/ passports of both parents and child
- – Child’s Birth Certificate in English
- – Legal Custody documents in the case of separated parents
- – Vaccine record of child (PHC 249_1 Kinder 2 vaccination update form (1))
- – In case of allergies, please notify the school
- – Proof that you live in St Julians e.g. leasing agreement or copy of utility bill
- – Documents related to any special needs or conditions that your child has been diagnosed with or is in the process of being diagnosed
- – Kindly bring any CDAU documents if your child is undergoing a case within the CDAU.
- – Consent-forms duly filled
- – Any school assessment reports from previous year/s

Enrollment K1
Kindergarten children will be admitted in Kindergarten 1 on the 1st Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday of October or on the 1st Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday of February provided that the child would have attained 3 years of age by end of December for the October intake and by end of April for the February intake. Registrations to be received by the 7th September for October intake and 15th January for the February intake
Students shall be admitted in Kinder if they are toilet trained unless they are supported by a Learning Support Educator.
Enrollment Yr3 to Yr.6
Children enrolling in Years 3 to 6 must complete an online English proficiency assessment before registering at St. Julian’s Primary. If the child does not pass this assessment, they will be required to complete a one-year induction program at St Clare College, San Ġwann Primary School. If the child passes, they will be admitted directly into the mainstream program at St. Julian’s Primary School.

If you are a non-EU national, please contact the Ministry for Education (MEYR) at 2598 0000, visit their office at Great Siege Road, Floriana, or go to https://education.gov.mt/. They will guide you and provide any applicable Exemption-from-Fees-Application.
