{"id":292,"date":"2021-09-19T09:33:31","date_gmt":"2021-09-19T09:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scc.stjulians.skola.edu.mt\/?p=292"},"modified":"2021-09-19T09:33:31","modified_gmt":"2021-09-19T09:33:31","slug":"collection-of-data","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scc.stjulians.skola.edu.mt\/?p=292","title":{"rendered":"Collection of Data"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Dear Parent\/Guardian<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">The Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability (DRLLE) within the Ministry for Education (MFED) will be collecting and processing data of students registered within State Education Institutions, to carry out its functions and legal obligations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Student data will be processed and analysed within a system, to assist DRLLE in deriving Predictive Analyses, which can then help MFED in planning policies, strategies and directives to improve the education system.\u00a0\u00a0For example, the Directorate for research would like to know how many children aged between 14 to 16 years have left school completely. The Directorate does not need to know the names and surnames or identity numbers of those children, but needs only to know the date of birth of those children.
