Dear parents\/guardians,<\/div>\n
We have received the following letter from ALS Malta. We strongly encourage you to have your children participate, as we believe in Bjorn’s initiatives to support those affected by ALS.<\/div>\n

“Dearest St.Julian’s Primary,<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We at ALSMalta+ are reaching out to Bjorn\u2019s most cherished places, schools, as he treasures his student days dearly. As you may know, Bjorn\u2019s health continues to deteriorate as in the past year, he has lost his ability to eat, and more recently, his ability to speak. Despite these challenges, Bjorn remains steadfast in his mission to connect with as many people as possible and to inspire hope.<\/div>\n

In 2025, Bjorn is continuing his school tours to raise awareness, engage with students, and share the impactful projects he aims to complete. This year, we are combining Bjorn\u2019s love for students with his passion for art by inviting your students to participate in a unique\u00a0Art Competition<\/strong>\u00a0to help raise funds for\u00a0Dar Bjorn Respite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Theme:\u00a0<\/strong>Hope and Resilience<\/strong>: We invite students to express their interpretation of this theme through their artwork.<\/h4>\n

Eligibility:\u00a0<\/strong>Students aged\u00a04 to 16<\/strong>\u00a0are eligible to participate.<\/h4>\n

Art Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Medium<\/strong>: Paint in any style (watercolors, pencils, acrylics, etc.).<\/li>\n
  • Dimensions<\/strong>: Preferably A4-sized paper.<\/li>\n
  • Submission Requirements<\/strong>:\n
      \n
    • Each artwork must be submitted in a plastic folder labeled with:\n
        \n
      • Student\u2019s Name and Surname<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Age<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • School Name<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Parent\u2019s Contact Number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Students are encouraged to give their artwork a title.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Prizes<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • 1st place Prize\u00a0<\/strong>: \u20ac200 voucher from an art supply store.
          \n2nd place Prize\u00a0<\/strong>: \u20ac100 voucher from an art supply store.
          \n3rd place Prize\u00a0<\/strong>: \u20ac50 voucher from an art supply store.<\/li>\n
        • The winning artwork, chosen by a panel of renowned artists, will also:\n
            \n
          • Be featured as ALSMalta+\u2019s official\u00a0Easter Sunday greeting card<\/strong>\u00a0(announcement on\u00a0Sunday, 20th April<\/strong>\u00a0via our social media).<\/li>\n
          • Be exhibited and sold during our\u00a0Art Expo<\/strong>, with proceeds benefiting the foundation.<\/li>\n
          • Be promoted as our\u00a0upcoming artist for 2025<\/strong>\u00a0across all ALSMalta+ art platforms and exhibitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Additional Participation for Art Teachers<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

            We warmly invite your school\u2019s\u00a0Art Teacher<\/strong>\u00a0to participate by submitting one artwork representing the school. This piece will be featured and auctioned on our online platform, with credit given to the artist and their institution.<\/p>\n

            • Entry Fee<\/strong>: \u20ac5 per student, collected during Bjorn\u2019s visit to your school.<\/li>\n
            • Artwork Submission\u00a0<\/strong>: To be coordinated during Bjorn\u2019s visit.<\/li>\n
            • Winner Announcement<\/strong>: Sunday, April 20th, 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              We encourage you to book a slot for Bjorn\u2019s school tour at your earliest convenience, as we expect a high level of interest. During Bjorn\u2019s visit, we would also like to organize a\u00a0Q&A session<\/strong>\u00a0with the students to foster interaction and further awareness.<\/p>\n

              This initiative not only supports a noble cause but also inspires creativity and compassion among students. Thank you for considering this opportunity to engage your students in a meaningful project that embodies hope and resilience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
