RULES AND CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

By entering the Digital Art Competition, you are hereby accepting the following competition rules and conditions.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Eligible Participants <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This competition is open to ALL primary, middle and secondary students attending state and non-state schools including LearningCentres and Education Resource Centres.<\/p>\n

    A student may submit only ONE artwork.<\/p>\n

    Only individual submissions are allowed.<\/p>\n

    Forms of Digital Art may include: Computer Graphics, Pixel Art,Digital Photography, Digital Collage, Digital Painting.<\/p>\n

    RULES AND CONDITIONS<\/p>\n

    Digital Art Competition <\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Digital Art Works <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The work submitted for the competition should be based on one of the following themes: Lines<\/p>\n

      Still Life<\/p>\n

      Life at school<\/p>\n

      Entries must be original work and must not have been previously published or entered in other competitions.<\/p>\n

      Artworks featuring known persons, organisations or brand names will not be accepted.<\/p>\n

      Digital Art must be submitted with no watermarks.<\/p>\n

      Participants retain the copyright to the artworks submitted.<\/p>\n

      Participants should confirm that each person illustrated in the submitted work has granted permission to be portrayed as shown.<\/p>\n

      1. Submission <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        All entries must be submitted to the email addresses as per below: Year 1 to Year 6: daniela.zerafa@ilearn.edu.mt<\/p>\n

        Year 7 to Year 11: clint.gerald.attard@ilearn.edu.mt<\/p>\n

        Entries should be submitted by not later than Friday 22nd March 2024<\/strong>, till 16:00.<\/p>\n

        The file name containing the Digital Art submission must include the student\u2019s Name and Surname, Class, College\/School and chosen Theme. Example: Mark BorgYr2_1Zabbar PrimaryLines or <\/em><\/p>\n

        MariaZarbYr7_5StMargaretCollegeMSStillLife or <\/em><\/p>\n

        AlanGattYr10_3StGorgPrecaCollegeSSLifeAtSchool.<\/p>\n

        The applicant is giving permission that his\/her name, and photos of him\/her and of the Digital Art, may be published on the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation website and social media, and other media.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Selection Process <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Participating artworks will be divided into FOUR categories according to the age of the student: Group A: Year 1 to Year 3<\/p>\n

          Group B: Year 4 to Year 6<\/p>\n

          Group C: Year 7 to Year 8<\/p>\n

          Group D: Year 9 to Year 11<\/p>\n

          A panel of experts in the field of digital art will judge the presented work.<\/p>\n

          The entries will be judged according to the following criteria: overall impact<\/p>\n

          relevancy to the category topic<\/p>\n

          composition and arrangement<\/p>\n

          technical ability<\/p>\n

          originality<\/p>\n

          The winner of each section will be selected through a fair and impartial process by a panel of judges appointed by the organisers. All decisions by the judging panel are final.<\/p>\n

          1. Announcement of Prize-Winners <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Winners will be announced through a circular mentioning names of winners, class and respective schools\/colleges, on the week starting 27th May 2024.<\/p>\n

            Prizes will be given to those who place first, second, and third in each category.<\/p>\n

            All participants will be presented with a Certificate of Participation from the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation.<\/p>\n

            The winning works, as well as a selection of other entries, will be exhibited on the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation media platforms and others.<\/p>\n
